A driven pile is a relatively long, slender column, used to offer support or resist forces. It is installed by impact hammering, vibrating or pushing into the earth to the point of resistence.

The idea of post piles has been around since 500 B.C.

This picture shows driven piles on a lake in the Swiss Alps. This shows just how old the concept of straight-driven piles has been used to hold structures long after the structures themselves are deteriorated.

Benefits of pile driving

  • The engineered piles allow customers to choose the desired height for their home, with different height options for the piles.

  • The piles have no flighting and thus are not affected by ground frost

  • This machine can work in close proximity to buried utilities without causing disaster.

From a stick in the mud to a technology proven tool, driven piles are as old as history and as new as tomorrow!
